What a chilly morning for parkrun! 🥶☀️ The cold didn’t stop our parkrunners from getting out there!

🎉 Congratulations Emily on your PB! 🏅👏

We also want to catch up on some milestones we haven’t acknowledged recently. A huge congratulations to Meg, Christine, Skye and Margie on reaching 25 parkrun milestones! 💙👏

And congratulations to Harry on 10 parkruns! 🎉

Thank you as always to our wonderful volunteers and everyone who came along and made another Surat parkrun a great morning.

A lovely morning at Surat Memorial Parkrun today! 🌤️

We welcomed 3 locals and 4 visitors from Brisbane, Newcastle and Melbourne. Thank you for joining us, helping boost our numbers, and even volunteering while you were here—we really appreciate your support.

We hope you enjoyed your run and look forward to welcoming you back to Surat again soon! 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Surat Memorial Park parkrun #72 🏃🎉

Another brisk morning at Surat Memorial Park parkrun!

We welcomed 9 finishers, and it was a record-breaking day with Jed setting a new course record, taking an incredible 14 seconds off the record he set at our inaugural event. Congratulations, Jed! 👏🔥

Well done also to our personal best achievers Carter, Kay and Jo – fantastic running! 💪

A big congratulations to Millie on completing her 25th parkrun milestone! 🥳

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers. We couldn't do it without your time and support each week. See you all next Saturday!

🥶 A frosty morning at Surat Memorial parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It was a chilly one this morning, but the frost didn’t keep our visitors or locals away! ❄️ We loved seeing everyone out and about getting their Saturday morning 5km done.

A special welcome and thank you to our parkrun tourists from Kirra and Goolwa Beach, SA, for stopping by and joining us!

👏 Congratulations to Billy and Tom on smashing out new PBs!

And, as always, a huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped make today’s event possible. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙

Congratulations to our regular Surat Memorial Park runners Emerson, Pip and Beau, on their selection in the South West Cross Country Team.

The trio proudly represented the South West at the Queensland State Cross Country Championships in Toowoomba over the weekend.

What a fantastic achievement! We are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication. 👏🎉

Another fantastic morning at Surat Memorial Park parkrun #70!

We welcomed 9 finishers this week, including visitors Kylie and Scot from Brisbane. It was great to have you join us!

Congratulations to Jo on achieving a new personal best, and a special shout-out to Andrew, who celebrated his 25 parkrun milestone with 16kg on his back! Well done!

Thanks to everyone who walked, ran, volunteered and cheered. We look forward to seeing you all again next week.
