Greyhounds aren't safe even when the race is over. 💔

Roamin' Around fractured her right leg in the catching pen after finishing fourth. Trained by Jade McPherson, she had just completed her 66th start.

The suffering doesn't stop at the finish line. How many more broken bones before the WA Government says enough?

It's time to end greyhound racing.

If greyhound racing is financially sustainable, why does it need public money to keep it going?

That money could help fund healthcare, housing, education and community services. There’s no shortage of places it’s needed.

Sadly, ending greyhound racing won’t end gambling. Government would still collect gambling revenue but it wouldn’t need to keep pouring money back into a code built on animal suffering.

Public money should serve our community.

More than a month scratched due to thigh soreness. Her first race back, she suffers a fracture in the same leg just moments after the start.

Incredible Mouse, trained by Francis Farrell, sustained the injury at Mandurah on Thursday night. She turns four in February, and has already raced 55 times.

How much is enough? How much more must these dogs give before their wellbeing comes first?

Greyhounds deserve a life beyond the track. It’s time to end greyhound racing.
