💙 Community Spotlight – Abby Health 💙

At Help Is At Hand, we love recognising organisations that make healthcare more affordable and accessible for Australians.

🥶 Melbourne's winter is well and truly here, and as the temperatures continue to drop, I've found myself thinking a lot about the people in our community who are sleeping rough, living in their cars, couch surfing, or facing homelessness right now.

Homelessness is often much closer than we think. It doesn't always start with someone sleeping on the street. It can begin quietly through relationship breakdowns, job loss, illness, financial hardship, family violence, or simply not being able to keep up with rising living costs.

Recently, I wrote a blog about this very issue because I believe it's something we need to talk about more openly and compassionately
