Please join us as we commemorate those who served and those that made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam conflict

Australia’s participation in the Middle East Area of Operations (MEAO) came at a terrible cost. Forty-one lives were lost in Afghanistan and two lives were lost in Iraq and Kuwait, while many returned with long-lasting physical and mental trauma.

Please join us at our commemoration service as we honour the service and sacrifice of our service personnel.

A once in a lifetime opportunity for all Veterans. Some of our members have benefited from this unique opportunity and highly recommend applying for this experience

Applications are officially open for the 10–20 November Walk With Us Kokoda trek.

This is more than just a trek.
It’s connection. Purpose. Mateship. Healing. Perspective.

Through the support of sponsors and our community, we are able to give veterans the opportunity to experience the Kokoda Track alongside others who understand the journey.

Every sponsorship helps change lives while also supporting local Kokoda communities and continuing the legacy of those who walked before us.

If you would like to apply or support a veteran on this journey, head to our website today.

Limited positions available.

The Springwood RSL Sub-Branch Young Veterans Night is happening this Thursday at 7pm at the Springwood Sports Club, bringing together current and former service members for an evening of connection, support, and camaraderie. The event is a great opportunity for younger and older veterans alike to meet others with shared experiences, build new friendships, and learn more about local veteran support networks in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you’ve recently transitioned from service or have been out for years, all young and old veterans are encouraged to come along and get involved.

🌿 Volunteer Lawn Mowing Service for Veterans 🌿

The Springwood RSL Sub-Branch is launching a volunteer lawn mowing service to support veterans who are unable to maintain their yards themselves.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this service, please send us a private message with:

Your name
A brief summary of your service history

Once we’ve received enough expressions of interest, applicants will be prioritised and contacted with available service times.

Application does not guarentee acceptance as this is a volunteer program and spots are limited.

We’re proud to give back to those who have served. 🇦🇺
