Filling Good! GUDSA stands for the Griffith University Dental Students' Association and is a non-profit student run organisation which was established in 2004.

GUDSA's primary role is to provide our students with a premium university experience by organising social and professional networking opportunities throughout the academic year for all dentistry, dental hygiene, dental technology and dental prosthetics students! Major events in previous years have included:

Hey First Years!

Hope everyone had a great mid-tri break and is feeling refreshed 🙌
The Academics Team is excited to bring you Oral Histology and Head & Neck Anatomy mock exams to help you prepare for upcoming assessment!

📅 When: Thursday 20th August, 4-5:30pm
📍 Where: G42 2.17

This mock exam will be run under timed exam conditions to closely replicate your real exam experience, right down to the section splits. After the exam, we’ll go through the answers together so you can understand exactly what to expect and how to improve.

Important reminders:
• Please bring a fully charged device (you’ll be typing your answers)
• Be on time so we can start promptly and get through everything

Join GUDSA Academics for an insightful morning with Dr Allan Nguyen (Dr. Allan Nguyen ), a General Dentist (Bachelor of Dental Science, UQ Hons) with a special interest in dental implants. Together, we’ll explore the journey from extraction to implant restoration, covering the key concepts every dental student should know.

🦷 Atraumatic extractions – preserving bone for future implant success
🔪 Surgical extractions – when they’re indicated and key clinical considerations
🦴 Case selection – identifying patients suitable for future implant treatment
🪥 Implant basics – foundations of modern implant dentistry
