📍Happy Saturday and a wonderful turn out☀️

🍁 A fun morning with our wonderful community members for some gardening. There was plenty of weeding, mulching and sweeping up around the garden; a few of our seedlings needed replanting; our worm juice was nourishing for all our vegetables and as always plenty of watering 💦

📍 Come join us for our first June catch up at 10am on Saturday 6 June at the Boyd Community Centre 🪴

Join us at Boyd Community Garden - Saturday at 10am. All are welcome 🌱

It’s National Volunteer Week and this is your year to volunteer!

Volunteering is a significant part of Victoria’s identity and at the heart of our communities.

Victoria is home to around 3.3 million people who volunteer every year, and we want to celebrate their contributions. Join them in accessing the amazing benefits of volunteering like connecting with others, building skillsets and gaining confidence.

National Volunteer Week 2026 celebrates the commitment of current volunteers and invites everyone to see how volunteering can fit in their lifestyle.

Volunteering is the perfect way to get involved, meet new people and forge purposeful connections. No matter your schedule, there’s a volunteer role that’s right for you.
