“TransportEdge Inc. was formed by Transport Workers, who over many past years have represented Transport Workers in the workplace to get a better deal. These loyal champions of labour could not stand by and do nothing following the corruption and dysfunction that has occurred and revealed in the Heyden Royal Commission report on the activities of the Transport Workers Union, WA Branch. The lack of any leadership within that organisation and its continuing turning of back on workers and their issues can no longer be tolerated. The foundation Committee came together in 2016 determined to provide Transport Workers with better service and ensure transport workers have representatives who will not shy away from the issues.
