Pembroke parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 9am on the corner of Arthur St and Tasman Hwy. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Pembroke parkrun #74 – 30 May 2026

Well done to all the 95 people who ran, jogged and walked the course. Four participants were first time ever to a parkrun, welcome and 6 were first time to Pembroke parkrun (visitors from Sydney, Gold Coast and other Hobart parkruns). Congratulations, we saw amazing achievements by 22 participants recording new PBs – brilliant! 🥳

Milestone shout-outs for this week: Madeleine B - 25th and Matthew S – 50th and Carolyn V – 100th volunteer. Congratulations! 🎉

A HUGE thank you to all this week’s volunteers: Kelly, Darrel, Carolyn, Tracey, Sammi, Carol, David, Cori-Lee, Justin, Belinda, Nick, Melinda, Linda, Mona and Scott, without you we do not go ahead. 🙏

After a wet week, tomorrow is looking to be a lovely morning for a 5km walk, jog or run. And that means parkrun, the best way to start your weekend. 🤗

This week 66 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 13 were first timers with 6 completing their first ever parkrun and 19 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 2 different clubs took part.

We had visitors from Orford and Montrose.

We also had a few milestones today 🥳
Congratulations to Darrel Veenendaal on completing 200 unofficial parkruns and to Karen Carter on completing 50 volunteers.

Pembroke parkrun started on 18th January 2025. Since then 1,946 participants have completed 6,460 parkruns covering a total distance of 32,300 km, including 1,383 new Personal Bests. A total of 197 individuals have volunteered 1,115 times.
