Dear members,

This Thursday 18 June for one night, our President Paul Glassenbury will be sleeping outside as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, raising funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians experiencing homelessness. It’s a small but meaningful way to help raise awareness of an issue that affects far too many people.

Paul is not a camper or a fan of the cold, and given the weather forecast, he will be in for a challenging night. However, for many Australians, this is their reality every night.

The night will also give Paul an opportunity to connect with some of Adelaide’s business and government leaders and promote the sport of table tennis and our club in general.

We are reaching out to our members to ask for your support in helping Paul reach his fundraising target. There is no obligation to donate, but any contribution, large or small, will assist Vinnies in providing critical services such as emergency accommodation, food and ongoing support.

If you are able to contribute, please support Paul’s campaign here: https://www.ceosleepout.org.au/fundraisers/paulglassenbury
