We had out Annual General Meeting and first committee meeting on Monday evening, confirming a strong and stable leadership team for the year ahead. All existing office bearers were re-elected to their current roles:

President: Shane Murray
Treasurer: Michelle Tarr
Secretary: Aimee Hammett
Vice President: Keeleigh Davison

We’re also excited to welcome Courtney Parker as an additional Vice President, further strengthening our committee 🌟

It’s shaping up to be an exciting year for BBASVCC.

Once the new P&C roles are elected for the upcoming year, we can begin the transfer process to bring the OOSH under the P&C - an important next step in building a more streamlined and supportive structure for our community 💪

Hi Everyone,

Fantastic news! Last night the vote was taken by our P&C and we will be transitioning to a P&C run OOSH at Brisbania public school.

This is a great result which secures the future of the centre and ensures the level of care is continued in the same way it has always been.

Thanks to everyone who came along last night and the new executive committee looks forward to working with the school community to transition the operations over the next 9 months.

If you want to know more, reach out to me, come along to either our committee meetings or the P&C meetings at the school and we would be happy to share as much information as we have whilst we navigate the pathway forward.

Thanks again to Brisbania Public School for your support and thank you to all our Brisbania Public School P&C members who have the confidence in us to merge the OOSH together.

Hello everyone,

We have an important meeting scheduled to discuss the future of our Before and After School Care program at Brisbania Public School.

Next Thursday, The 22nd May, the P&C will vote on whether to integrate our program or to open the tender to the broader market.

Thank you to everyone who participated in last month's survey. We received unanimous support for transitioning to the P&C.

If you are a financial member of the P&C, please join us for the vote during our regular meeting next Thursday at 6 PM in the school staff room.

Thank you once again for your support as we embark on this exciting journey.

Hi everyone,

Last night I sent an email out requesting a few minutes of your time to fill out a survey regarding our upcoming vote on whether you would support the P&C to take on the operation of the service from Jan 2026 or whether your preference is for us to go out to tender.

This is a major decision that we have held off for the last three years, but now we cannot seek any more extensions to our lease from the department.

We had a meeting on Thursday evening with the P&C and they will be taking it to a full committee vote at the next meeting in term 2.

Thanks to all who attended our AGM last night. I’m excited to announce that your 2024 committee was re-elected for another year. Most excitingly we have a new executive Keeleigh Davison who has joined us in the position of Vice President. This rounds out our committee and sees us entering into the 2025 year with the strength and support of a fully engaged and committee. There are exciting times ahead for the Centre and we look forward to serving our members with the passion and care that makes our Centre one of the best on the central coast
