Well done to the 10 volunteers who cleaned up the village today! Amongst the 12kg of rubbish were some unusual finds (pictured) that were not left out for hard waste by the way!

The team picked up 33 drinks containers, 11 coffee cups and 16 loose plastic bottle caps. Well done everyone!

This National Volunteer Week we say a huge THANK YOU....to everyone who supports our clean ups. That means our group leaders and most importantly the hundreds of people from the local community who give time to keeping Sandringham beautiful 🙏

What a morning! 10 steadfast volunteers braved a windy and rainy morning in Sandringham.

Between us we removed hundreds of litter items from our beautiful village. Amongst the 11kg of rubbish were 490+ cigarette butts, lots of building waste from construction sites and 33 drinks containers.

A brilliant start to the year! Thank you to the volunteers who removed 8kg of litter from Sandringham Village. Amongst the pile were 90+ cigarette butts, 30 drinks containers, 12 coffee cups and 6 loose plastic bottle caps.

Keep an eye out for details of our huge Clean And Australia Day event on 1st March.

We are calling for plastic bottle tops to be tethered, just as they are in the EU. Sign our petition to support this change!

Well done to the volunteers for clearing up Sandringham this morning! A group of 9 managed to collect 7kg of litter. As usual, there were hundreds of cigarette butts, 15 loose plastic bottle tops, 30 drink containers and 8 single use coffee cups.
