Ironbark Venturer Scouts is a Sir Leslie Wilson District-based Unit (14-17 year olds), with youth members from Enoggera, McDowall-Bunya, Everton Park, Grovely-Mitchelton, Wahminda Park and Samford Scouting Groups (NW suburbs of Brisbane / SE suburbs of Moreton Bay Region). Ironbark Venturers meets on a weekly basis, rotating their programming between the 6 Scout Dens, as well as District, Region a
nd State events. Being a District-based Unit, our membership number are very healthy with an average of 20-30 youth members participating each week. We are very supportive of our youth's study-work-life-play balance and offer a diverse range of opportunities to get involved. Our regular meeting times are every Friday 7-9 pm (school terms), with additional weekend opportunities throughout the year. We welcome Scouts turning 14.5 years old to come and visit us any time to start their Linking up. We have several current and former (now Rovers 18+) unit members who joined us with no scouting experience and loved it!
