Join us for two interactive CPD sessions exploring person-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to care.

We welcome healthcare professionals, students and community workers interested in strengthening inclusive healthcare practices.

✨ This CPD session will equip attendees with a better understanding of models of care for people with intellectual disability, while strengthening skills in safe rapport building, culturally responsive communication and trauma-informed practice.

✨After the session, attendees will be able to:
* Develop a better understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape and models of care for people with intellectual disability.
* Explore and apply trauma-transformative practice when supporting people with intellectual disability.
* Strengthen awareness of mental health considerations and available support resources for people with intellectual disability.
* Build skills in establishing safe and culturally responsive rapport with children and families from multicultural backgrounds.

共147位志工、62位醫護共同參與這次活動，協助了822 位人次。最深刻的不是數字，而是那一聲聲真誠的「謝謝」💗

看見笑容回來、病痛減輕，我們更明白：這份守信的約定，值得一再出發。感恩醫護團隊的專業守護，更感恩這份讓我們能走進人群、付出愛的因緣🫂

"When those who suffer cannot find their way out, those who are blessed must reach out to them."
From April 2nd to 5th, TIMA Australia and Tzu Chi volunteers returned once more to the town of Tara✨ With 147 volunteers and 62 medical professionals working hand in hand, we provided 822 consultations Beyond the numbers, what touched our hearts most were the sincere whispers of "Thank you."💗
Watching smiles return and seeing pain eased reaffirms our belief: this cherished promise is worth every mile we travel. We are profoundly grateful for the professional dedication of our medical team, and even more thankful for the opportunity that allows us to walk among the people and share this love🫂

- TIMA Brisbane has been hatching a dream of a space that allows us to expand beyond dentistry into other disciplines, and to build multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary care models.
