Our visit to Rosebud Hospital this morning to view the new transilluminator and the ice machine installed in their ED. These two items were purchased through our 2025/26 disbursements for a total cost of $10,081 50. Over the last 13 years we have donated funds totalling $138,600.00 to the hospital, averaging around $10,000.00 per year from funds raised through our two Opportunity shops and other fundraising.

Thanks to the efforts of Club Member, Colin Stevens and Dromana Secondary College staff member, Grace Bonfadini, five students competed in this years Youth of the Year Competition at the Safety Beach Sailing Club on Wednesday evening the 25th February. Our YOTY winner was Ethan Tangatatutal and the Public Speaking winner was Camryn Small. Ethan now progresses to the YOTY State Final on the 2nd May at the Frankston RSL.

James D Richardson Honour Award awarded to Colin Stevens for his much appreciated involvement with the Lions Youth Projects.
With Colin's help and contacts we have been able to be involved in the Lions Youth of the Year contest for secondary school students, the Lions Junior Public Speaking contest for primary school students, the Lions Eye Health Program at primary school level and the Lions Peace Poster contest at primary school level.
