🛑 A "TOTAL PSYOP" OR REAL ANSWERS ROCKINGHAM?
On March 31st, the Gary Holland Centre was packed for the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) community update. But while the stage was set for an "Information Session," many who attended left feeling more ignored than informed.
"Residents were ignored" 📢
Instead of traditional live microphones, the ASA utilized a digital platform called "SLIDO" to field questions. "It appeared a veiled smokescreen with limited information given out," Diane told the Baldivis Times. She reported that after submitting questions regarding infrastructure and nuclear safety, her queries simply "disappeared" into the system.
Local resident Teresa told the Baldivis Times that "residents' questions were selectively ignored," with the panel primarily focusing on housing rather than deeper community concerns.
"A Total Showbiz Event" – Cr David Rudman ⚖️
Councillor David Rudman has labeled the setup a "propagandafest" and a "total PSYOP," as he told the Baldivis Times. Rudman criticized the lack of microphones for live audience participation, calling it a "total cop-out" to avoid hard-hitting questions.
"Rockingham deserves better," Rudman told the Baldivis Times, raising serious alarms about the use of Highly Enriched Uranium (HEU) and the potential for the city to become a high-priority target in a conflict.
