Well done to Zoe at C3 Carligford for running a Circuit Breaker course this year. At our next City Women Ryde Zoom on Monday we'll be hearing from Zoe about how its going, and if there are ways people from other local churches can help. It's heartwarming to see local churches helping prevent domestic violence in our part of Sydney. (It's a great course if you haven't done it yet..... they're always keen for more groups to start up so get in touch with them if you want to run one in your area!)

It's not too late to register for the upcoming City Women Day with guest speaker Letitia Shelton.

This is being held on Tuesday, 20 Aug, 2024 from 10am to 5pm. Don't miss out!!

Letitia is founder of City Women Toowoomba. She speaks internationally and nationally encouraging women to disrupt darkness with the light and hope of Jesus. She will be sharing her learnings from 20 years of listening to and responding to the needs of women.

Then on Monday 2nd September, we will have the chance to gather on zoom and meet with inspirational women who are serving currently in our local Ryde area.

City Women Ryde is a network of women from different churches, denominations, and ministries in Ryde who gather with the purpose of encouraging, supporting, connecting and collaborating with one another to make a difference in our City.

We are relaunching City Women Ryde this year with a fresh look and fresh vision.

We are excited to let you know about the Ryde Women's Hub. This is a newly formed group in the City of Ryde, for women to gather and connect together, over craft and creativity.

Ryde Women's Hub
The vision of the Ryde Women's Hub is to be a welcoming space where women who are newly arrived to our city, or women who find themselves isolated, can find friendship, community and belonging. As women sew, paint, knit, cook and work alongside one another we believe strong community can be formed.

We need your help!
The Ryde Women's Hub are looking for Christian women who would love to:
- meet women in Ryde outside of your usual circles
- help newly immigrated or isolated women join a vibrant community of women
- encourage one another in creativity
- demonstrate God's love through friendship.

The hub meets every Wednesday from 12.30pm - 2pm, in school terms. You're welcome to bring a hobby or craft to work on while we connect together, or enjoy using creative items provided by us. As we expand, our vision is to set up multiple hubs within the City of Ryde.

We meet at CABC West Ryde Hall, 1 Reserve St, West Ryde NSW 2114
