Wild Mountains

Wild Mountains Inspiring - Educating - Conserving
The Wild Mountains Trust is a not for profit organisation.

Wild Mountains has a vision of a world where people lead fulfilling lives while sharing the earth’s resources with all of the life forms on this planet and without degrading our life support systems.*

We believe the best way of achieving this is through education. When people participate in programs offered by Wild Mountains they are inspired and motivated to make personal and behavioural changes

which promotes the sustainability of the natural environment over which they have stewardship. Many people tell us that they remember their experience at Wild Mountains as a turning point in their thinking.

We have touchdown! 🎉

In another milestone moment for the Bruce’s Shed transformation, the shed was successfully lowered onto its new foundations.

There was a real golden-oldies feel on the mountain over the weekend. It was both humbling and sentimental to witness this piece of Wild Mountains history being carefully restored, while also feeling excited about the progress being made and the incredible team of volunteers bringing it all to life.

The next volunteer weekend for the Bruce’s Shed Retrofit is 26–28 June 2026. If you’d like to contribute your time, skills or expertise, we’d love to have you involved.

This EOFY, we are raising $50,000 to help bring this vision to life and ensure the Wild Mountains legacy continues for future generations.

Would you consider supporting us? Every donation, big or small, helps us continue this important work and carry our vision into tomorrow and beyond.

With thanks,
