U18 EADP TRIALS | REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

SA Country Basketball is pleased to announce registrations for the 2026/27 U18 Emerging Athlete Development Program (EADP) trials are now open!

The trials are open for all athletes born in 2010 and 2011, who live in country South Australia.

Evening all,

Anyone who still has a junior basketball singlet can return it to the Basketball shed in the Link between 5pm and 6:30pm tomorrow afternoon.

$20 dollars when they are returned.

ONLINE REFEREE COURSE | LEVEL 0

Registrations are now open for the upcoming Online Level 0 Beginner Referee Course for all SA Country Members.

Attendees must attend both modules to pass the theory component of the course. All users will need internet, and a laptop with Zoom installed and a camera to be able to participate

LIFE MEMBERSHIP - Michael Nelson

For the past 10 years, Mick has been a dedicated member of our committee and in that time, he has given so much to ensure the success and growth of our association.

Junior sport doesn’t just run on its own. It takes people behind the scenes – organising, planning, helping and often stepping in wherever needed. Reliable, committed and always willing to lend a hand, no matter the task.

Whether it’s been game days, meetings, sorting out issues or just being someone we can count on. His contribution has helped create a positive environment for our players and association volunteers.

What stands out most is not just the time he has given, but the attitude he has brought with it. He always shows genuine care for the association and the kids involved and that’s something you simply can’t replace.

On behalf of everyone, past and present, we thank you for your years of service, your dedication and everything you’ve done for junior basketball in Roxby Downs.
