Today, 27/8/26 our wonderful McCrae Lighthouse is illuminated red for Red Nose Day
Please support this vital cause and get Red to save little lives and support grieving families

Please support this vital cause and
Every day across Australia, 9 babies and young children die suddenly and unexpectedly. We're losing them to SIDS and stillbirth, among other things. This devastating loss is indescribable.

Support for Red Nose Day means they can continue to be there for bereaved families and parents, and work towards a future where no families experience the devastating loss of a baby or child.

Growing hope for 40 years

When Daffodil Day first took roots in 1986, the 5-years cancer survival was approximately 46%. Today, thanks to the support of the community raising funds for cancer research – survival is now 72%.

For 40 years, people all over Australia have come together to share a message of hope on Daffodil Day. Over the years, this much-loved community event has given thousands of Aussies affected by cancer a moment to reflect, remember and support each other.

Over this time Daffodil Day has helped grow hope in the community as we’ve come together to improve outcomes for people with cancer. We’ve come a long way in that time and we hope the next 40 years of cancer research will see everyone diagnosed with cancer surviving their diagnosis with a treatment plan that’s just right for them. It’s absolutely possible, and we’re here to help make it happen.

For awareness of:

Jeans for Genes Day - 6th August 2026

Jeans for Genes Day is a vital health awareness campaign dedicated to raising funds for the Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI). Established in 1958, CMRI has been at the forefront of paediatric research, launching the Jeans for Genes Campaign in 1994. The event aims to combat genetic diseases that affect 1 in 20 children, including conditions like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and life-threatening metabolic disorders. Shockingly, this means that 12 children are born with a genetic disease every minute worldwide. With support, CMRI can fund groundbreaking research into gene therapy and find cures for these previously incurable conditions.
