The beautiful Dale and Belinda from Wattle Grove Speckle Park Stud gifted Billie with not one but two gorgeous calves and Billie couldn’t be more happy🩷

This absolute legend has had her MRI today at Westmead Hospital to check on her progress, doing it all in very high spirits and the cheeky attitude that we all know 🤣
The results we should know when Billie goes back for chemotherapy so no news will be good news 🤞🏽

Billie has bravely undergone a platelet transfusion today, boosting her blood cells to kickstart round 6 chemotherapy with renewed strength Having 2 bags administered over 2 hours each for the transfusion was a vital step forward Travel home safe and sound tonight xx

Billie is showing incredible strength as she faces a brief delay in her chemotherapy treatment, potentially rescheduling for after Monday when further bloodwork will determine if her platelet levels are sufficient to proceed. Although her current low platelet count is causing random bruising on her body 🥹, her medical team is optimistic about her progress. When her platelets rebound, her doctor will initiate treatment with a 25% reduced dosage to ensure she can tolerate it better. Demonstrating remarkable bravery, Billie underwent a complex injection procedure to protect her ovaries from the potential effects of chemotherapy by preserving her eggs. This procedure, though challenging due to its invasive nature, is a testament to her resilience. Let's hope Monday brings positive news, marking a significant turnaround in her journey 🤞🩷

Billie received the incredible news that her platelet levels have returned to normal after a week of anxious waiting, paving the way for a brighter outlook!
An early morning kick-started the day, leaving at 6am for a swift round trip to Sydney to meet with the medical team and collect round 5 chemotherapy medications, marking a significant step forward.
The long drive continued straight back home, making it an exhausting day 😴. Every single one of us is beaming with pride for Billie as she kicks off round 5 with unwavering strength and determination!🩷🩷🩷

Billie was to start her fifth round of treatment this week, but for now, her platelet levels are slightly below the required threshold at 59,000 - the target is 75,000. We're keeping our fingers crossed that this dip is merely a temporary blip due to her current head cold, which she's battled for the past week. The medical team has taken some swabs to ensure everything is clear, and we're eagerly anticipating a possible restart next week when her levels are expected to rebound. 🩷🩷🩷
