“would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the Twic East Scholarship Program and Twic East Youth Association of Australia for the unwavering support and commitment you have demonstrated throughout my high school education and up to this point in my academic journey.
I often find myself reflecting on where I would be today had I not received your support. I honestly cannot imagine how different my life might have been. Because of your generosity, I had the opportunity to access a quality education at Boma Boys High School—an opportunity I may not have had otherwise. Without your intervention, I might have completed my high school education in the challenging learning environment of Kakuma, where negative influences could easily have diverted me from my academic goals.
You provided me with everything I needed to pursue my studies and, beyond financial and material support, you offered me encouragement, motivation, and guidance that often felt like the support of a parent. Your investment in my education has shaped not only my academic journey but also the person I am becoming.
Words alone cannot fully express how grateful I am for everything you have done for me. Your kindness has made a profound difference in my life, and I will always carry this support with me as I move forward.

Last week, we had the privilege of joining the prayer service at Tartar Girls Secondary School for the Form Four students as they prepare for their final secondary school examinations.
Our two sponsored candidates were visited by our Field Coordinator, Akon, who took time to encourage and pray with them during this important stage of their academic journey. We are grateful to Akon for making the time to support our girls, and we commend the students for their hard work, resilience, and commitment to staying the course.

We wish them every success as they sit for their final examinations. May their efforts be rewarded with excellent results and bright futures.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors. Your continued support is transforming lives and creating opportunities for these young women.

Today, I made a brief visit to Promised Land Secondary School to connect with our scholars, holding an informal discussion under the a peaceful mango tree shade. The session included the customary students concerns, but was predominantly marked by a notable display of gratitude and maturity. The form four girls, navigating significant pressure, demonstrated remarkable resilience. It is always uplifting to witness young girls taking proactive control of their futures.
