Seeing the native plants we put in during 2025 doing so well at Parkwood Reserve is giving me a little hope 🌱

Despite rabbits, weather, and all the odds, they’re establishing and growing — a small but meaningful boost for local biodiversity.

If the world has been feeling a bit heavy lately, maybe come and get your hands in the soil with us.

**Friends of Parkwood Working Bee**
📅 Saturday 21 March
We’ll be doing some light w**ding and litter collection to prepare for our April and May working bees (when we’ll be mulching).

It’s a good chance to connect with others, spend some time in nature, and be part of something positive in our local community.

*UPDATE; Saturday's working bee is cancelled due to a family situation. See you next month.

📅 Saturday 18 October, 9:30–11:30 am
📍 Parkwood Reserve, North Ringwood

Spring is in full swing, and our plants are thriving — but so are the w**ds!
Join us for some light w**ding, litter collection, and a bit of TLC for our beautiful reserve. We’ll also hammer in any loose stakes and maybe spread a little mulch to protect young plants.

Afterwards, stay for a cuppa and light refreshments while we chat and admire our shared efforts.
It’s a great way to connect with neighbours and show how much we all value this special green space.

👟 Please wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring your own gardening gloves.
🔨 If you have a hammer or small hand tools, feel free to bring them along.
