Thank you so much for every donation, every auction bid, every kind message, and every follow — we see it, and we are so grateful.
Rescue is the most beautiful work, but some days it is really hard on our hearts, our bodies, and our finances. At the end of the day, we are just a small group of ordinary people trying our absolute best.
Most of our animals arrive with no history, sometimes not even a name. What they do often come with is health and behavioural challenges that we work so hard to help them through. Our promise to them is a safe, secure and loving place to heal.
Our babies won't be perfect, and we could never promise that. They don't come with DNA tests, insurance or health guarantees. They are learning to trust again and will need patience and ongoing training in their new homes.
If you have room in your heart for a pet who is a little imperfect, with quirks and all, who just needs someone to love them for who they are — then one of our rescues might be your soulmate.
