Last weekend we had our Annual Appreciation Dinner for our Sub Centre! We can't thank each of our Volunteers enough for the work they do to help our community and are so proud of them!
Congratulations to Carol for being our Quairading Volunteer of the Year 2025 and to Lyndsey & Lynette Greenwood for their Outstanding Service Awards! 🎉

Be emergency ready with the First Responder App

Did you know? The St John First Responder App shows you exactly where defibrillators are located near you.

👉 Quairading has 19 defibrillators across the community, all visible in the app, ready to help in an emergency.

👏 A big thank you to .quairading for moving the CRC defibrillator to the front of the building, ensuring our community has quicker access to this lifesaving equipment.

We are looking for expressions of interest for the sale of our decommissioned 2012 Automatic Diesel Mercedes Sprinter Ambulance Van!

The van will be available approx end of September. The vehicle will be stripped of all emergency signage and equipment prior to sale. It is in good condition with approximately 85,000 km on the odometer and comes with a full service history. The van will be sold unlicensed and the interior fit-out will be removed/stripped to base vehicle condition.

On Sunday, 24th August, our local emergency services came together in Quairading for a realistic mock vehicle accident scenario. St John Ambulance Quairading, St John Ambulance Bruce Rock, Quairading VFRS, and Quairading Police all took part in the joint training exercise, which involved four mock patients — including two who had to be carefully extracted from inside a vehicle.

The exercise was a great opportunity for our teams to sharpen their response skills, improve coordination, and learn more about each agency’s role during an emergency. Everyone involved agreed it was a valuable experience, and we are all excited for the next one!
