NETBALL Q&A

Sacred Heart Netball Club is part of the Ku-ring-gai Netball Association (KNA). You can find

Can anyone play netball?
Yes! Absolutely! All boys and girls under 12 years are welcome. Netball is a fantastic way for
kids to build confidence, ball skills, teamwork, make new friends — and most importantly, have
loads of fun!

Where can I register?
Registration details will be shared via the school and our page — keep an eye out so
you don’t miss out!

When and where are the games played?
Games are played on Saturday mornings. The times of the games are subject to grading and
skill levels. Usually there are no games during school holidays and public holidays. This may
vary from year to year so we can get enough games in during the season.
Games are played at either Lofberg Netball Courts (5-8 yrs) or Canoon Road Courts (9+)

When and where is training?
Training is held after school on our carpark courts — super convenient!
Training times are organised by parents for each team, choosing a time that works best for most
families.
Can my child still train if they go to after school care?
Yes!
Parents just need to provide written permission to After School Care so your child can be signed
out for training and signed back in afterwards.

Where can I get the uniform?
We have spare and second-hand uniforms available, and with upcoming school changes there
may also be updates to our uniform — more details to come!

Volunteers?
Our club runs entirely on amazing parent volunteers — coaches, trainers, managers and
umpires. The more helpers we have, the better the season is for our kids! Even just being at
training to support and supervise makes a big difference.
The 2026 Season? 2 May 2026 - 22 August 2026 followed by semi finals and finals

Ku-ring-gai Netball Assocation has a commitment to the community and offers the sport to: NetSetGO! – 5-10 year olds Netta – 7-8 year old Junior – 9-12 year olds Intermediate – 13-14 year olds Cadet – 15-17 year olds Senior – 17+ years AllStars (All Abilities))
