Creative Connections Whitsunday Inc is a vibrant community organisation that services Airlie Beach, Proserpine, Bowen and surrounding villages and is dedicated to fostering artistic expression and connection within the Whitsunday region. We offer a diverse range of events and programs that engage both artists and the broader community.​

y Festival is a signature event celebrating our unique local wildlife and cultural heritage. This festival brings together art, music, and community activities to raise awareness and appreciation for the Proserpine Rock Wallaby, fostering a sense of unity and environmental stewardship.​

Great Barrier Reef Festival Art Exhibition

As part of the annual Great Barrier Reef Festival, we proudly host the Art Exhibition, showcasing the talents of artists from along the length of the Great Barrier Reef. This curated exhibition provides a platform for creatives to display their work, reflecting the beauty and diversity of the Great Barrier Reef and our community.​

Thanks to new funding support, the 2026 Whitsundays Songwriter Festival Songwriting Summit is now FREE for Whitsunday Regional Council residents!

Join acclaimed Australian artists including Christine Anu, Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl), Taylor Moss, Mark Sholtez, Francesca de Valence, and Karen Jacobsen for a full day of songwriting workshops.

Whether you’re writing your very first song or refining your craft, the Summit’s new three-stream format offers something for every stage of the songwriting journey.
