Welcome to Team Wombat – Car #67 🧡 Wombatting for Tassie Kids! 🐾🚗

Hello!

We’re incredibly excited to be taking part in this year’s Variety Federal Hospitality TasBash as Team Wombat!

Meet the crew behind Car #67:
🐾 Cain – “Big Wombat”
🐾 Jacki – “Mumma Wombat”
🐾 Wesley – our official wombat mascot and chief morale officer!

TasBash is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure through regional Tasmania in outrageously themed vehicles, celebrating a year of fundraising for Variety Tasmania and the amazing work they do supporting local children and families.

For more than 30 years, Variety has helped Tassie kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with disability by providing practical support that genuinely changes lives.

During TasBash, we’ll visit local communities, schools and organisations across Tasmania where Variety grants essential items and programs — from mobility equipment and communication devices to school breakfast programs and inclusive playgrounds.

And the support doesn’t end there. Funds raised throughout the year continue helping children and families right across Tasmania, with Variety supporting more than 26,000 Tassie kids last year alone.

As a Team, we cover our own travel and participation costs, which means every dollar donated goes directly towards helping Tassie kids who need it most.

We’re starting our fundraising journey a little later than many teams, but we’re aiming high with a fundraising goal of $3,500 — and we’d love your support to help us get there.

Whether you donate, share our page, follow our journey, or simply cheer us on from the sidelines, you’re helping us make a difference for Tassie kids at risk of falling through the gaps.
