Yet again, an early rise for the wonderful Group 10 trainees, who today completed the first of their three 1-hour Financial Awareness sessions delivered by Incolink.
Dona Edwards from Incolink has such an easy-to-understand and engaging delivery style, making the session both highly informative and relatable for the trainees.
Once again, the feedback from the cohort was outstanding, with trainees already looking forward to Session 2 bright and early at 7am tomorrow morning.
Some of the feedback received included:
“I wish I knew this stuff when I was younger.”
“Really informative — looking forward to tomorrow.”
A huge thank you to Dona and Incolink for continuing to deliver such valuable life and career skills to the trainees.

Who knew a session about finances could have trainees this engaged? 💸😂

Today, VMCTA were truly honoured to be the first organisation in Victoria to receive Incolink’s Financial Awareness presentation.

After 18 months in the making, this 3-part series has been designed to help trainees build smart money habits early, because surviving on two-minute noodles forever probably isn’t the dream 😅

Dona Edwards, the Financial Advisor from took trainees through everything from superannuation and Medicare to bank accounts and savings options, with plenty of questions, laughs, and great conversations along the way.

It was fantastic to see everyone so engaged and eager to learn skills that will set them up both on and off the tools 👏

This is just the beginning, with the program now set to roll out to other trainees across the industry.

A huge thank you to Dona and Incolink for sharing their knowledge and helping the next generation get financially fit 🙌

Today we pause to honour and remember the brave men and women who served, and those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment will never be forgotten. We stand in gratitude and respect for all they have given, and the freedoms we continue to enjoy because of them.

Lest we forget.

Back on site after the Easter long weekend 🙌

First day back for Group 11, just getting familiar with the crane again. Going through the books, checking over everything inside and out, and having a bit of a play with the hook. Good way to ease back into it 💪
