🌞❤️Red, Set, Go is over for 2025❤️🌞

This month, our team walked, ran and rowed over 500kms and, with your incredible generosity, raised more than $20,000!!! But at the centre of it all is one little boy – Sunny. Every step, every dollar, every moment has been for him. Alongside Red Nose Australia to help prevent more families from going through this profound grief.

Life without Sunny is indescribably heavy. The world keeps moving, but there is a silence that will never go away. Our reality will not change and the ache of his absence is with us every single day, but so too is the love we carry for him. We will always say his name, because to speak of him is to remind the world that he was here, he matters, and he is forever loved. 🌞💛

To every single one of you who donated, walked with us, checked in, or simply held us in your hearts – thank you. Your love and support has carried us through this challenge, one that pulls so heavy on our hearts. You’ve honoured our boy alongside us, and that is the greatest gift we could ever receive.

We support Red Nose Australia because we dream of a day where no parent has to feel the grief of losing their child. Until then, we will keep walking, fundraising, and speaking Sunny’s name – every year, every day.

🎈❤️Last day of Red, Set, Go❤️🎈

Our incredible team has clocked over 500kms and raised more than $18,000 – and we could not be more grateful. Every donation, every message, every walk alongside us has meant the world. A special shout out to Studio 3 Espresso for hosting an unforgettable day yesterday – your support and generosity filled our hearts. 💛

Whilst this challenge has been full of laughter, steps, and shared moments, we never lose sight of the heavy reason it exists. You’ve acknowledged that, honoured it, and walked beside us in Sunny’s memory.

🎈Thursday August 28th is Red Nose Day! 🎈

We’re proud to support Red Nose Day, an annual fundraiser for Red Nose Australia that helps save little lives and support grieving families across Australia.
Because of Red Nose Day:

❤️ We now have an evidence-based safe sleep program that parents, carers, and health professionals can use to reduce the risk of babies dying in their sleep — a program estimated to have saved over 12,000 little lives.

🧪 Over $18 million raised for research has helped uncover why babies die suddenly in their sleep and continues to drive new discoveries.

🤝 Red Nose also funds vital research into SIDS and stillbirth and provides free support to families affected by SIDS, stillbirth, SUDI, miscarriage, and more.

This Red Nose Day every donation made after 10AM will be MATCHED dollar for dollar! That means your support goes twice as far in saving lives and supporting families in need.

💛 We did it! 💛

Our Red, Set, Go team has officially reached our $15,000 fundraising target – all in loving memory of our beautiful Sunny, who is so deeply missed and forever loved. 🌞✨

We want to say the biggest thank you to every single person and local business who supported us – whether you donated, shared kind words, shared our link or joined us on our walks. Your generosity, love, and company have meant the world and shown the strength of love and kindness in the depths of grief. The darkest of experiences has been met with the most beautiful connections.

This achievement is more than just a number – it’s a tribute to Sunny’s light and the community that has gathered around us in his name 🌞

Your donations support lifesaving education and safe pregnancy programs, free 24/7 counselling and bereavement support services for families, and allow for greater investment in vital research.

Two Weeks In – And What a Journey It’s Been ❤️👟 Red Nose Australia

We’re officially two weeks into our Red, Set, Go challenge – walking 3km a day in honour of beautiful Sunny and we are so deeply moved by the love, commitment, and generosity surrounding this journey.

Our original goal was $1,000 – and thanks to your support, kindness and generosity, we’ve raised that goal several times. We are now sitting at an amazing $12,963 raised out of our $15,000 goal! 🌟

Together, as a team, we’ve walked, run, and rowed a total of 232 kilometres – each one filled with love, remembrance, and purpose.

Every step we take honours Sunny and every dollar raised helps support bereaved families and vital reasearch through the work of Red Nose Australia.

This challenge is about more than numbers – it’s about showing up every day for Sunny and for all the little lives gone too soon. We’re so grateful for every donation, every message of support, and every person walking alongside us in spirit.

🌞 In Loving Memory of Sunny
Born sleeping on November 28th, 2024

This August, Sunny’s beautiful Mumma and friends are proudly participating in Red, Set, Go for Red Nose Australia, walking, running, and raising awareness in honour of a beautiful little soul taken far too soon.

Sunny was born sleeping at full term — a heartbreak no family should ever have to face. His arrival and sudden departure left an enormous space in the hearts of those who love him. In his short time, Sunny has already made a profound impact, reminding us of the preciousness of life and the importance of support during unimaginable loss.

Sunny’s passing has also shed light on a heartbreaking gap in our region — the NSW Mid North Coast has limited access to perinatal and bereavement support services. No parent should have to navigate such grief without compassionate, informed care.

To help change this, Sunny's Mumma recently attended the Waves of Change conference in Brisbane — a gathering of bereaved parents, health professionals, clinicians, researchers, policy makers and advocates working to transform the way we support families through pregnancy and infant loss. Her strength, advocacy, and love for Sunny are helping pave the way for better care in our communities.

With Red Nose Australia, we walk in Sunny’s name. We walk for awareness. We walk for change.
