We have a new updated logo!
It's still a koala on a bike - but this koala is wearing a helmet and pedalling to represent our focus on safety and being active.

The koala on a bike represents the Port Macquarie community embracing bicycles as a mode of transport. We think it's a great fit for us.

Thanks to Justin Farrell of High End Design for using their graphic design skills to us develop this new logo - using the existing colours. 🙏

We hope you like it too 😀.

13 was our lucky number this Tuesday for a perfect day riding the South Brother Loop. We welcomed Gary who drove all the way from Harrington for his first ride with us.

It was a nice change to have more normal bikes than ebikes for a change. 😲🦵🚴‍♂️

Next Sunday is the Beach to Beach Shared Pathway from North Haven and next Tuesday Trails is the Tour de Kew.

Check out the events page in our website to keep up to see our upcoming ride calendar or just keep an eye on this page.

Stay tuned 🚴‍♀️

13 riders joined us on the proposed Town to Googik Link Trail on to the Ruins Way for this weeks Slow Sunday ride (June 14). It was a lovely 22 km return journey along the waterfront, through the shared paths of Kooloonbung Creek and through the Googik Track to the Ruins Way.

We stopped at the Ruins Gates to show riders where the proposed extension to Lake Cathie would start if it is approved. Great to have 2 newbies on board for the ride and to hear the surprise of people riding the route for the first time at the rides beauty.

Curious about the ride? Then you're welcome to try it out yourself. We've added the map here and there is a link in the comments to the the map in our Strava if you need more details.

Have you tried the ride yet? Let us know in the comments.

Old mates reunited after 10 years thanks to us 😮👏. Rusty and Trevor's friendship goes back 30 years but they hasn't seen each other for the last 10 years, so you can imagine their surprise when they bumped into eachother today at our Slow Sunday ride. Whilst Rusty has been riding with us for a while Trevor had his first ride with us today.

We are stoked to hold events that bring people together like Rusty and Trevor. So were Rusty and Trevor judging by their non-stop chat during the ride and coffee at Little Shack PMQ .😄

Our rides are about more than just getting out and enjoying the scenery. They are about building social connections. We're super proud to be part of reuniting these old friends and creating new friendships as well.❤️🚴🏻🚴‍♀️

Have you made new connections through riding in a group? Let us know in the comments.

21 riders enjoyed perfect conditions for this weeks Tuesday Trails from Bonny Hills to Queens Lake Loop.

Great to see quite a few first timers join us with most of them signing up to join us for future rides.

It's amazing to see our numbers swelling beyond what we ever expected when membership opened a little more than a year ago.

🧐📽Check out the story we did with 7NEWS Coast about the proposed Town to Googik Link Trail.

Great to see Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association coming out in support of the trail as well.

We've put the link so you can watch it yourself in the comments.

We got on the telly! Thanks 7NEWS Coast for sharing the news of our proposal to develop a Town to Googik Link Trail. Thank you also Kerry from Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association for your wise words.

We look forward to gaining support from Port Macquarie Hastings Council soon.

What do you think? Do you support our proposal to develop a Town to Googik Link Trail? With just 310 m of shared path needed to complete a 10 km off road trail we think it's fantastic value for money, but we're interested in your thoughts too.

Watch this space for an online petition soon.
