Port Macquarie for a Dignified Death Dying With Dignity campaigns for legislation providing voluntary assisted death with strict guidelines for mentally competent persons with terminal illness

We are the Port Macquarie Group of Dying with Dignity NSW. We meet quarterly at "The Pier" at Port Panthers ( and we thank them for their ongoing provision of this facility at no rental cost to us). Each meeting we try to have an Interesting and Topical speaker on the issues of medically assisted dying legislation and Pallative care. We also offer local training and information on the topic of Adv

anced care Directives and Enduring (NSW) Guardianship and offer our Members and Supporters assistance is obtaining suitable information and forms and in completing them satisfactorily. In all our endeavors we believe in the individual's right of Choice and we do not wish to impose or enforce our beliefs on those who are, for their own reasons, opposed to our philosophy and we expect the same consideration in return.
