Welcome to the Grief & End of Life Collective – Mid North Coast.
We’re Kellie and Rod, and we’ve created this space to gently open up conversations that most of us were never taught how to have — about grief, loss, dying, and the end of life.
We believe that building death literacy is an act of community care. When we understand what happens at the end of life, what choices we have, and how to support one another through loss, everything becomes a little less frightening and a lot more human.
Grief isn’t only about death or divorce. It shows up in the everyday losses too — the loss of pets, jobs, relationships, identity, health, routines, and the versions of ourselves we’ve had to let go. Loss touches every part of life, and talking about it helps us feel less alone.
This group is here to:
- Share resources on grief, end‑of‑life care, and death literacy
- Find local events, workshops, and community gatherings
- Ask questions about dying, caring, funerals, vigils, and support
- Normalise conversations about death and loss
- Build connection with others who want to approach these topics with honesty and compassion
Every one of us will face loss. Every one of us will die. When we learn together, talk openly, and support one another, we make these experiences softer, kinder, and more grounded.
We’re really glad you’re here.
