Come and join us at our AGM this Tuesday (23rd) at the Huon Yacht Club. We'll gather at 6pm for some nibbles and a chat and start the meeting at 6:30pm. Bring a plate if you can but don't let that stop you from joining us!
Why might you want to join us?
- Connect with other people who care about Port Huon and our community.
- Be better informed about what's going on locally. As well as meeting minutes, members minutes from our friends at the Geeveston Progress Association and updates from others like TasWater, Huon Aquaculture, and Landcare.
- Have a bigger say in Port Huon's future. More members means more sway when making submissions to Council (whether as part of a consultation or when a concern or idea has arisen) or taking on a local issue (like the sewage outfall relocation).
- Help get an idea that you have for a project or event off the ground. You might find someone with the same interest. We have an ABN which can be helpful if applying for grants. (Obviously members need to approve your idea!)
- Enjoy the stunning views from the Huon Yacht Club at our meetings during daylight savings.
