Got a call out in West Pinjarra last night to a baby tiger snake. Lady said she had it under a broom 🧹
Didn’t expect it to be there when we arrived, but it was🤠

This is a follow on from our dugite capture and release to Selina (River Wren Animal Rescue.

So this is a follow on from our last post of a dugite that had been bitten by a dog.
The dugite had 2-3 wounds after their encounter.
I don’t have an update of either the dog or snake unfortunately.
But here’s a video of the capture and release to Selina - River Wren Wildlife Rescue.

Hi all
I received a text from Lani (Medusa Reptile Services), thanks Lani, regards a dugite in a shed at a Pinjarra property.
Sadly, when I phoned the resident she was at the vet with her dog, a suspected snake bite.
We attended and found a dugite right down the back corner, unfortunately sporting a couple of wounds from the dog.
We had to move quite a bit of stuff to get to it.
I chose the tongs as I had to get under a bench and into the corner, so I went for the safe option.
We were able to take this dugite to River Wren Rescue (thanks Selina) where hopefully it can get patched up.
