🩷 Mundaring Rides this October 🩷

Join VSTR for two special rides at Mundaring:

🐴 Saturday 3 October
🐴 Sunday 18 October

Throughout October, we’ll be riding in pink and raising money to support breast cancer awareness and research.

Save the dates, start planning your pink outfit and watch this space—full ride and fundraising details will be coming soon! 🩷

🐴 What happened to our weekday rides?

VSTR is an ATHRA-affiliated club, and ATHRA regulations stipulate the accredited ride officials required for every club ride.

At present, we have only three officials available on weekdays. This isn’t enough to fill all the required positions—particularly the important role of Trail Boss—and without the necessary officials, we simply cannot run weekday rides.

Several committee members have recently completed their first-aid training, and we held a Trail Boss accreditation course in May. However, if members would like to see weekday rides return, we need more people willing to step forward and help.

Please have a think about whether you could take on a role and support your club. You don’t need to know everything immediately—talk to a committee member to find out what’s involved and how you can get started.

More officials mean more rides. It really is that simple. 💙

A beautiful day for out ride in Wooroloo today. After having to cancel our last ride due to thunderstorms and hail it was a relief to get out and ride! A wonderful bunch of people and a few new faces. A perfect Sunday 🐴💙🐴
