Words really can’t describe how grateful I am to have been awarded $200 from the CWA Perth Belles to support the running of Hearts in Yarn, as part of their annual giving program!

This is an incredibly generous donation, and I want to sincerely thank you all. Your support for this initiative truly goes above and beyond, and thanks to your help, Hearts in Yarn will be able to package, prepare and donate even more toys to children battling cancer in hospital in 2026.

isn’t he the cutest??

all of these bags of toys were lovingly made by the amazing northern yarnies - a wonderful group of local community members whom i can’t thank enough for everything they have done.

they’re truly a generous and talented group, and i’m so glad i have been able to contact them and have their support.

thanks to them, all of these toys will soon find their forever homes with kids in hospital who are bravely facing cancer ❤️

it’s been almost two months since i was featured on channel 7, and i’m still blown away by the amount of incredible people who continue to reach out and support my project hearts in yarn - i couldn’t be more grateful.

this sunday, the amazing luke and kerrie generously donated a whole tub of yarn to the project. i’m so thankful for your kindness 💗
