Useful update: Easier way to find relatives’ graves

The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board has a free Deceased Search tool to help locate where loved ones are buried in WA.

You can:
- Search by first name, surname, or year of death
- Use the interactive map to zoom in to the exact grave location

Tip: If you don’t find a result, try searching by surname only.

“Whoever attends the funeral procession and offers the Janazah Salah, will get a reward equal to one ‘qirat’, and whoever accompanies it till burial, will get a reward equal to two ‘qirats’.

GUILDFORD CEMETERY- road construction clearance

A new loop-road is being built for the new lawn burial areas of Section F & G.

During construction, vehicle access to Muslim areas D & E will be limited, but pedestrian access will be available at all times. (See map attached)

Duration from April 24th to 29th May 2026

Please be mindful of the above when visiting Guildford cemetery

Due to slight delay.

We will have the janazah salaah for Fatima Idris Nor, at Swan Valley Mosque (Caversham) at 1pm and then proceed to Guildford cemetery for burial at 2.30pm إنشاءالله

Another janazah salaah will be done at Maqbarrah for anyone who missed it.
