The Golden Wings National Motorcycle club rode into town to enjoy their annual get together. And this year it was WA’s tourist sights with some great hospitality cooking done by the LIONS NORANDA. Wishing the Honda wonders a great trip and Lions District Governor Janet Spellissey, Mick Wainwright Manager and all the Lions a big thank you.

A foggy morning outside but a great ‘Rise & Thrive Breakfast inside. Our Cert II and III Business and Hospitality students hosted a nourishing brekkie for guests and staff. Cr Anthony Pittaway attended, joining us in morning exercises, a great talk from Morley SHS Alumni Jordan Crooks (former Morley Leo), with Chaplain Joseph Pham leading everyone with exercises. Very enjoyable and all supported by Principal Rosalba Butterworth and staff. Thank you Morley Senior High School 🙏 🌻

Morley Senior high school celebrated our Anzac Day memorial service with Federal Member Tania Lawrence, member for Hasluck, Honourable Member of Morley, Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson member, Deputy Mayor Elli Peterson-Pik for the City Of Bayswater, Head Principal Rosalba Butterworth, District governor of Lions Janet Spellisey, Major Robinson (former student at MSHS), Mr and Mrs Utting from Bedford RSL, all students of Morley Senior high school with Scots Pipers and a formal wreathlaying. A very moving ceremony proudly prepared by the students and staff.

MORLEY MARKET - proceeding well in removing the concrete slab. There will be plans ahead to promote a new beginning with all the owners. To date, it is still undetermined as to what started the fire. I’m hoping the land will be tidied environmentally safely whilst its future is being planned. There’s light shining through.

Lightning Park Sports Pavilion - Unveling of the Plaque. This map shows an excellent spacious sports pavilion addition (the darker grey shown in the pic) which was given through a Federal grant. Federal member for our area, Hasluck, Ms Tania Lawrence with our Mayor Piffaretti unveiled a special plaque which will be kept within the sports centre.
