No Island Collective is a two part project. Part one is an online professional networking site between musicians and designers/visual artists. The site will have profiles with portfolios and music-samples so that both musicians and designers can find the right match to work with and create awesome things together. The site will

also have an active blog with several contributing writers, and have regular posts like "designer of the week", "musicvideo of the week", "song of the week" etc. Part two is No Island Magazine, a magazine that celebrates the amazing local talents in music and visual arts that Perth has to offer, and the relationship between the two. It will be released bi-annually and will include interviews of local talent and in-depth views into the interesting things that are happening when design and music melds together.

Some awesome and girly typography from Leederville based design firm Studio Papa. We've got some nifty talent in this city of ours!

We couldn't be happier about releasing the first peek today of the work we've been doing with the City of Vincent for their latest festival coming later this year. We're also pretty happy to get a chance to channel some pretty heavy girly power on this one too.

Exciting news! The deadline for our design competition "Share Your Passion" has been pushed back a month as we’ve decided to print the magazine locally. The new deadline is THE 25TH OF MARCH! This should give our participants plenty of time to come up with that awesome concept which will sweep our judges off their feet and make them the grand prizewinner featuring on the cover of our very first magazine issue! Make it rock!
