It was a pleasure to represent and speak on behalf of WILTA today alongside Ibu Sue Cooper - Chairperson of Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth at a hearing of the Standing Committee on Education. Our joint submission for the inquiry into building Asia Capability in Australian schools and tertiary institutions made for a great discussion with the committee and chair Hon Tim Watts MP. The WILTA committee will continue to work towards supporting our Indonesian teachers here in WA by strongly advocating for Bahasa Indonesia 🇦🇺🇮🇩
