Military Brotherhood MMC Perth South Sub Branch The Military Brotherhood MMC (MBMMC) is a military motorcycle club with sub branches being raised around Australia. 1. The MBMMC commenced in 2009.

It is a Club for serving and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Forces, Commonwealth forces, their families, friends and their supporter base. The MBMMC is a club that will not discriminate between male and female members or supporters.

2. Its mission: to provide a ‘safe haven’ incorporating
camaraderie, mateship and support to all members and non-members, while providing a
common and e

nduring bond through Defence service and motorcycles. The MBMMC is a
recognised and approved Ex-Service Organization (ESO) and provides qualified welfare, pension and advocacy support to ex-serving members and Veterans through a working relationship with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and other Ex Services Organisations (ESO).

3. The MBMMC is also a dedicated supporter of Legacy Australia and actively raises funds for
Legacy families at every opportunity.

4. The MBMMC operates in strict accordance with Department of Defence policies. We do not
allow non prescription drugs, violence, criminal behaviour or discrimination in any form.

5. The ‘Veterans Assistance Centre’ (VAC SLIPPER) was officially opened by Senator for
Queensland, Senator Sue Boyce, on 11th June 2011. VAC SLIPPER operates as a ‘drop in’ centre and provides a ‘safe haven’ environment for members, ex-service members and Veterans who need a dedicated place to mix with like minded individuals while dealing with their personal issues.

6. Welfare assistance is provided to all Veterans and ex-service members regardless of their past or present circumstances. Whether they are in jail, in any other motorcycle club, or associated with any other group, we believe that ‘if you served your country in its Defence Forces, you will get our help’ as long as necessary.

7. Sub Branches have now been raised in BRISBANE, IPSWICH, TOWNSVILLE, CANBERRA, HERVEY BAY, GYMPIE, PERTH, and shortly in DARWIN and ADELAIDE. Members in NEW ZEALAND have expressed a desire to start Sub Branches.

Today we attended the ANZAC day service in Armadale to commemorate those who fought and gave there lives.
A lovely service as always and an awesome turn out, it was so lovely to see so many young ones attending the service and paying respects by laying flowers picked in the gardens and poppy's from their parents.
Followed by a gun fire breakfast back at the Armadale RSL Sub-branch and a fly over from the RAAF, what an experience!

In 1919, locals came together to honour those lost in war, raising funds to create a park with real purpose. By 1921, a captured field gun from the Hindenburg Line was placed here – a powerful symbol of sacrifice that still stands today.

Tennis courts followed in 1922, built in memory of those who served – a place where people gathered to heal and reconnect. In 1948, bowling rinks were added, continuing that same spirit of community.

And at the heart of it all, Armadale's obelisk – believed to be the first WWI memorial in all of Western Australia, dating back to 1916.

Today, Memorial Park is where stories live on. Where names are remembered. And where, every Anzac Day, we gather to reflect, honour and pay tribute to those who gave so much.

Today Perth South had their monthly ride to the Australian Army Museum of WA in Fremantle
With a stop at Hilarys for breakfast it was a lovely ride with beautiful weather for a change!

Met many nice people and a shout out to the volunteer Returned Vets who gave us the tour and spoke about some of their own experiences with us!

Highly recommended checking it out!

Sunday Perth South had our monthly ride to Bistro by the Dam in Serpentine
Despite the nasty weather, which lead us all to cage it, it was a lovely day, a special shout out to Mario Leeder the lovely gentleman playing the acoustic guitar for everyone who took the time to play songs for the kiddies and got them involved with shakers and tambourines. It made for a lovely day
