ANZAC Day Overnight Vigil
24/04/2026 - 25/04/2026
Cadets of 58ACU gathered at the Vietnam Veteran’s war memorial in Kings Park to conduct an overnight vigil and morning service in remembrance of those Vietnam Veterans and all ANZACs who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Well done to the many that also attended the St. George’s Terrace city march in the Perth CBD.

Lest we forget.

The Ode
They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.

58ACU, along with another 500 cadets from across WA , deployed to Bindoon Training Area to test their field skills and participate in a range of physical challenges like abseiling, weapons handling and engineering.

On Saturday morning cadets arrived at Irwin Barracks to participate in a parade along with the rest of the Brigade, marching with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Banner.

On Sunday 58 ACU competed in the Skill at Arms Challenge, taking home the win for Junior First Aid!

For the rest of the camp the cadets were split into three Tiers, with each group undertaking their own specific training based on their respective experience level.
