This Father’s Day, we celebrate & honour the fathers, grandfathers, father figures, and all those who have supported, guided & inspired us throughout our lives.

💜 We recognise that everyone’s family story is different. For some, Father’s Day is a special opportunity to celebrate with their fathers; for others, it may be a day of remembrance, gratitude, or simply a reflection on the people who have played an important role in their lives.

✨ At Chung Wah Dance, we are grateful for the families & communities who continue to support our dancers. Behind every performance are people who encourage, inspire and cheer us on — helping our dancers grow not only in dance, but also in confidence, friendship & connection. 💃

The first week of September marks the beginning of spring in Western Australia! 🌞🌸

🌼🌿 Spring is a season of fresh beginnings — a new season, new energy, new inspiration, and new possibilities. ✨

At Chung Wah Dance, we are stepping into a new season with new movements, new choreography, new challenges and, most importantly, new opportunities to grow together as a team. 💃🏻

🌊 World Lake Day – 27 August

⭐ Today marks World Lake Day, an international day recognising the importance of lakes & freshwater ecosystems, & the need to protect these precious natural environments.

💃🏻 For Chung Wah Dance, water is also a beautiful source of inspiration. Its flowing movement, rhythm & harmony can be reflected in the graceful gestures & expressive movements of Chinese dance.

💦 Like water, dance can be gentle yet powerful, constantly moving while maintaining its own rhythm.

Through dance, we celebrate culture, movement & harmony — connecting our traditions with the diverse community we call home in Western Australia. 🌊💃

⭐ 今天是世界湖泊日，旨在關注湖泊及淡水生態系統的重要性，並提高大眾對保護珍貴水資源的意識。

💃🏻 對中華舞蹈團而言，「水」亦是舞蹈中一個充滿意境的靈感來源。水的流動、節奏與和諧，與中國舞蹈優雅而富有表現力的動作有著美妙的呼應。

💦 如水一般，舞蹈可以柔和亦可以充滿力量，在流動之中展現獨特的節奏。

✨ When Dunhuang Meets India ✨ Sangam 2026 ⭐

A heartfelt thank you to Indian Society of WA (ISWA) for the wonderful invitation to perform at Sangam 2026 yesterday. It was truly a great honour to be part of such a vibrant and beautiful celebration of culture, music and dance. ❤️

When Dunhuang meets India, different traditions come together through one universal language — dance. 💃✨

Different cultures, different stories, yet one stage, one rhythm, and one beautiful connection. 🌏

Thank you ISWA for bringing us together and giving us the opportunity to share, connect and celebrate through dance. What a wonderful event! ❤️✨
