Thank you to the event organisers, to community and allies who attended and to the beautiful people who made us feel so welcome! We will be seeing you all again!

Good luck to the Fremantle Dockers this Saturday in the AFL Grand Final! What a season they have had!

Congratulations also to on receiving the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award at the Brownlow Medal. This award recognises an AFL player who best embodies the values of the late Jim Stynes by going above and beyond with community service and off-field leadership. We applaud this kind of values driven leadership that can help so many people. Thank you Bailey!

💜 Happy Bi Visibility Day! 💜

Bisexual people make up more than half of the LGBTIQA+ community, yet bisexuality is still often misunderstood, questioned or erased — both within our communities and beyond them.

Being bisexual doesn’t depend on who you’re dating, who you’ve dated before, or whether you’re dating anyone at all.

A bisexual person’s identity doesn’t become more or less valid because of their partner, their relationship history or their current circumstances.

Today, we celebrate bisexual people in all their diversity and remind our community: bi visibility matters, bi identities are valid, and bisexual people belong. 💜

'Change the Narrative' is the theme for the 2026 World Su***de Prevention Day.

We want to help shift from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support.

Living Proud is the WA partner for the national QLife service that provides anonymous and free LGBTIQA+ peer support and referral. If you need to talk call 1800 184 527 or contact via webchat at qlife.org.au, you can call QLife (3pm - 9pm every day).

The theme for World Su***de Prevention Day (10 September) is 'Change the Narrative'. It's about shifting from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support.

At 8pm tonight, light a candle near a window to show your support for su***de prevention, to remember a lost loved one and for the survivors of su***de.

No more silence. No more stigma. Together we can face it.
