โœจโš– This month at Honours Club, we invite you to a thought-provoking discussion on the Royal Commission into Antisemitism with Tahli Blicblau, CEO of The Dor Foundation.

Drawing on almost two decades in senior intelligence and law enforcement roles, including countering organised crime and terrorism at the NSW Crime Commission, Tahli will offer a deeper understanding of the factors that led to the Commission, what current research reveals about antisemitism in Australia today, and the meaningful change this landmark inquiry could help achieve.

Autism is a highly diverse spectrum - shaped by different ways of thinking, communicating, and experiencing the world.

New research from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Haifa shows teachers working in wartime conditions rely on a psychological โ€œbufferโ€ against exhaustion.

The key factor is cognitive reappraisal - the ability to mentally reframe stressful situations in a more manageable way. Teachers who used this strategy experienced lower burnout and better emotional resilience, even during prolonged crisis. The findings suggest resilience isnโ€™t just something you have - itโ€™s something that can be developed.

Fatty liver disease affects 1 in 3 adults worldwide โ€” but new research is pointing to an unexpected ally ๐ŸŒฑ
Scientists from the The Hebrew University of Jerusalem have found that non-intoxicating cannabis compounds (CBD & CBG) may help reduce liver fat, improve metabolism, and restore how the liver processes energy and waste. Even more interesting? These compounds donโ€™t cause a โ€œhighโ€ โ€” and could offer a plant-based pathway for future treatments.

โš ๏ธ Itโ€™s still early-stage research (mainly in animal models), so more human studies are needed โ€” but the potential is promising.
