It is Neighbourhood Centre Week 11th – 17th May 2026 – and to celebrate we are taking part in a nationwide Community Lunch!!

You are invited to attend our Community Lunch here at Rostrata – and together with Neighbourhood Centres around Australia we will be providing a meal for our community – with the aim of collectively hosting Australia’s LARGEST Community Lunch EVER!!!!

Thanks to a very generous grant from our peak body LINKWEST – lunch is on us!! So come along, grab a plate, and join members of our community for lunch! ALL WELCOME! Bring a friend

We recently had the pleasure of meeting some of our newest City of Canning Councillors 🤗 thanks for the visit Councillor Luke McCorkell - City of Canning, Cr Linda Ross - City of Canning, Councillor Michelle Hurn - City of Canning, and Deputy Mayor Mark Bain - City of Canning. Come back soon!!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Rostrata Family Centre in Willetton, and wow I was genuinely impressed.

From the moment I walked in, it was clear how welcoming and supportive the environment is. The team are incredibly passionate about what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the centre from the programs they offer to the way they connect with families in the community.

The facility itself is fantastic, with well maintained spaces that are clearly designed to bring people together, support local families, and create a strong sense of community.

It’s great to see such a valuable resource right here in Willetton. A big thank you to the team for taking the time to show me and my fellow councillors around - I look forward to seeing the continued impact you make in the community.

This year we are collecting donations for Feed It Forward Christmas Food Drive by collecting in date, non-perishable food items and festive treats to bring some holiday cheer to local families in need. 💛
We will be collecting items until 15th December 2025. Please consider adding a couple of extra items to your shopping this week 😊
Please bring any donations to us in the office at the Rostrata Family and Neighbourhood Centre, or place them on the trolley in the foyer, and help us make a difference this Christmas!
Office opening hours are 9am – 2pm. Your help would be much appreciated
