NAAUC Changeover 2026 📚🌟🗓️

In January, the 2026 NAAUC team came together for a few days of connection, creativity and big-picture thinking. We reflected on the year that’s been and shared insights and experiences, setting the stage for the new team to step confidently into their roles and shape the next chapter of NAAUC!!

With the continued chance to connect and collaborate across colleges, the 2026 team has already started building momentum💛💙

The Working Party is supervised by the Executive Team and works on portfolios that focus on things like marketing, content, website management, merchandise and outreach! They play a huge part in our National Conference, all while maintaining contact with state residence during the year. They are a very hard working group of individuals who cannot wait to bring new initiatives and connect with you all this year!

🚨 DAY FIVE 🚨

For the final day, we began with our AGM where we welcomed in the new NAAUC office bearers for next year! This was followed by a members forum where we discussed membership offerings for 2026.

Delegates brought everything that they had learnt together at the State and National Pitch, where took out the first place 🥇

Finally, the conference concluded with our annual NAAUC Ball - a night under the stars 🤍 the evening was filled with Fresher Dances, special DJ performances and great vibes to farewell the new friends we had made.

We would like to thank each and every delegate, speaker, and supporter who made this week absolutely unforgettable! Throughout the week, we welcomed 168 delegates from 37 different university residences 🤯

Finally, a HUGE thank you to the 2025 NAAUC Team who committed their time and dedication to this conference and association throughout the whole year - your passion has created a strong legacy that will last for years to come 🫶

Day Four brought depth, insight, and a whole lot of heart 💙💛

Delegates attended academics, our Indigenous Insights Panel, and state forums to reflect, discuss, and challenge the issues facing their colleges.

And then? PARTY NIGHT 🥳✨ A chance to celebrate identity, community, and joy!

Day three = social day unlocked! From parliamentary debating and inspiring academics to exploring Brisbane in our city wide scavenger hunt ending in our famous merch swap, today was all about teamwork, creativity and connecting! 👕💛

🚨 NATCON DAY TWO 🚨

Delegates kicked off the day with academic sessions before diving into all things CODE with Kim Copeland & Renee Hamilton. The night brought double the energy with Ready Set NAAUC trivia + challenges and our annual Charity Auction supporting and our conference scholarships 💫
