𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 👀 and an exciting step forward for our community

At our recent AGM, members voted to rebrand to 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗲 & 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮.

Over the coming months, you’ll start to see this change roll out but don’t worry, it’s still the same KWA you know, just with a name that better reflects our growing community.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲?

👉 Wing foiling is booming
It’s the fastest-growing part of our membership, with more riders getting involved every season.

👉 One community, two sports
For many, it’s not kite or wing, it’s both. The crossover in skills, safety, and ocean awareness makes this a natural evolution.

👉 Leading the way in Kite & Wing development
We’re building more support for winging, including events, pathways, and stronger representation across WA.

We’re proud be Australia’s leading kiteboarding association and even more excited to lead the way for winging in WA. We thank you for your continued support, energy and stoke 🧡

Great vibes and an awesome turnout for the She Wings It Tech Talk held on 11 March at The Foil Shop in Fremantle 🙌

It was fantastic to see so many women come together to learn more, ask questions, share experiences, and build confidence in the sport. The evening was full of great conversations, helpful tips, and plenty of stoke for winging.
