Benevolent Hands INC. Australia Benevolent Hands is a non-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian charity work. Nahoko Takato, a Japanese supporter.

We believe that our positive energies and cooperation constitute a power that enables us to use technology to assist people in need everywhere in this small world. Our work began in 2007 when the team of Benevolent Hands Started to collect financial and in-kind donations for needy displaced Iraqis in Jordan after the invasion of Iraq in 2003. We were joined by a large number of Iraqi donors, the E

mbassy of the Sultanate of Oman and Ms. This allowed us to expand our work to include helping hundreds of Iraqi families living in Jordan where they are dependent on humanitarian aid provided by charitable organizations. Later many volunteers became involved in our work which expanded to cover new requirements. In 2013 the "Benevolent Hands Association” in Australia was founded to be a bridge to help the needy in Australia and everywhere in the world.

In light of the recent developments in the Middle East, we would like to inform our community that the Australian Government – Department of Home Affairs – has issued important updates regarding travel advice, consular assistance, visa options, and community support during this period.

🔹 The Australian Government currently advises Australians not to travel to several destinations in the Middle East and urges those in affected areas to follow local authority advice and monitor official updates via Smartraveller.

🔹 Australian citizens and permanent residents in affected regions can register with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to receive important updates directly.

🔹 Individuals impacted by the current situation may apply for visas or request extensions online through the official Department of Home Affairs website.

🔹 Mental health and wellbeing support services are available across Australia for those experiencing stress or distress during this time.

We encourage everyone to:
✔ Rely only on official and verified information sources
✔ Support one another and maintain community unity
✔ Reject all forms of hate, discrimination, or misinformation
✔ Report any suspicious activity or incidents of racism to the appropriate authorities
