Creative Coffee Catch-Up

Join us for our next Amani Circle Creative Coffee Catch-Up a relaxed, in-person gathering where creativity, conversation and community come together.

This session invites participants to explore drawing, painting and colour as a gentle way to express thoughts, feelings and experiences that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. Whether you’re looking to unwind, meet new people or simply enjoy a creative morning, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, culturally safe and inclusive space.

No artistic experience is needed. Just come as you are, enjoy a coffee, connect with others and take part in a guided creative reflection.

People with disability, carers, families, multicultural communities and allies are all welcome.

Disability Pride is not about pretending disability is easy.

It acknowledges the reality of inaccessible systems, stigma and discrimination while celebrating the strength, identity, culture and contributions of disabled people.

At Daring Different Global, we believe every disabled person deserves dignity, access, leadership opportunities and a genuine seat at the table.

This conversation is especially important within multicultural communities, where disability can still be misunderstood or hidden. Building inclusive communities starts by listening, valuing lived experience and creating opportunities for everyone to participate.

Disability inclusion isn’t just about raising awareness. It’s about taking action.

There was something special about this Saturday. 🤎

Poetry being written and shared. New friendships forming. Lots of laughter. Honest conversations. A room full of people who simply made space for one another.

That’s what Amani Circle is all about.

Our Beyond the Margins gathering reminded us that community isn’t about having the same experiences, it’s about making sure everyone feels welcome and valued.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared your creativity, encouraged someone else and helped create such a warm and inclusive space.
